My Dear DOODLEDOG

People who have never loved and lost a pet, do not understand the loss your heart feels when you have to say goodbye to a beloved fur-friend.  Not a day goes by when I don't think about DOODLE, one of my love-bug schnauzers.  I made this mini book as a tribute to him and I have it proudly displayed in my craft studio.  For anyone going through the heart break of losing a fur-friend, I can tell you that creating this book meant that I spent many tear-filled hours but in the end, it was good therapy and it meant that I could finally close the chapter on this part of my life's adventures.

Doodle will always have a special place in my heart and until we meet again, I have the special memories of time spent together, to hold close to my heart.

Well, I Finally Did It!

This is the beginning of something I said that I would never do ...set up and manage a blog!  But truthfully, there are times that I wish I had a HAPPY PLACE, where I could share some of my projects and even some of my everyday life things ... so THE PINK DAWG HOUSE will now be my 'happy place'.

I was fortunate enough to be able to take a Copic class with Suzanne Dean, when she was here in Ontario in the fall.  I have been practicing and while I still have a long way to go, I am feeling more confident about my results.  Here are a couple of images that I completed.

So, all I have to do is find the courage to click on the "publish post" button ... here goes....!
