HEARTS

In keeping with the tradition of
Valentine's Day,
I have made a couple of cards
and
a little project.

There are some terrific online tutorials
for Distress Ink colouring and
some equally amazing people who are
willing to share their knowledge, expertise
and advice to those of us who
are still trying our hands at this colouring medium.
My first cards are Miss Tilda coloured with
distress inks.

The next card is an easel card using
a digi image from here:
http://www.pinkgemdesigns.com/catalog/ozzie-love-digi-stamp-p-1375.html

(I always feel like I'm
cheating when I use them).

It's for my hubby for our anniversary.

My final project is made from a tin mailbox
that I purchased from Target a few years ago while on
a cross border shopping trip.

The flowers were made from tulle flower shapes cut
from the Tim Holtz tattered florals die.

The little mailbox will be filled with chocolates for
Mom on Valentine's day.

Thanks for stopping by.

You did a beautiful job with your coloring. I don't know how it could be improved upon. I love the glittery wings. The mailbox is absolutely incredibly gorgeous! I've really gotten into digis lately because they don't require any storage space in my stamp room, and I can have something new to color almost instantly. Still love my stamps, though, too.
