RODENTS

For the most part, I do not find anything cute about rodents ... mice, voles, moles and the like.  If you have ever had mice in your home, you will know what I am talking about.  Since recently moving into our new home and being assured by our builder, that there is no way for a mouse to take up residence inside our home (I SOOO hope I don't live to regret that statement!), I have come to be a little more tolerant of these critters.

It would appear however, that we do have these little residents, living under our back deck.  These are photos taken this morning, of their little tracks.  Now, as long as they don't chew their way through the concrete foundation or the bricks and mortar of our home, I have decided to allow them to reside under the deck.

I do however, accept no responsibility if my schnauzers decide to stalk them!

These House Mouse images were done a while back (I thought that by coloring mice on paper and making them look "cute", that maybe I wouldn't mind them being in our home)
and I used colored pencils and Gamsol.  If only the real ones were that cute!

Sent to your blog by Curt. I can't stand mice either, but I do love what you've done with the House Mouse images. Your coloring is so nice. I only wish I could do as well.

Our fellow friend Curt sent me and I am so glad he did! Girl you are so talented and should be sharing with all of us.
Don't hide your light under a basket! LOL
Welcome to this crazy world of blogging...I find it so therapeutic some days to know I can share what ever I want and hopefully inspire a few.

Any friend of Curt is a friend of mine. Welcome to blogland!
I feel your dislike of all critters. A few years ago a family of mice decided that our ceiling would be a great place to live. Sounded like a rugby match being played every night. I still feel guilty about killing a whole family, but a girl has got to get some sleep!!

If the real things were just a tiny part as cute as these, we'd all tolerate them more! Love House Mouse critters!

I'm with you when it comes to rodents. Even after having gone through the stages of DS owning Hamsters (which I hated & had to care for) and them keeping me up at night definately didn't improve my liking rodents. Nope...I still can't stand them but I do LOVE my Housemouse stamps. Great job on the coloring & as always your cards are gorgeous.

Beautiful cards Bonnie! I understand how you feel about the rodents, yikes! We've done a little remodeling and found interesting creatures when we've opened up walls.
